Project Hexagon

I REALLY love these grannies! I have a thing for hexagons, too. I’m pretty stoked to have a blanket by this time next year, too – but if I keep making more than one a day, it might be even sooner. Here’s a close up on all three of them so far:   I’m really… Continue reading Project Hexagon

All set up for @gatewayfatexiv - weather is spooky but the con is cozy! Stop by and say hi if you're in STC, show floor is open until 6 today πŸ’– I FORGOR to take pictures on day 1 which I should have for a more dramatic effect - San Japan has been absolutely fantastic for me, everyone has been so nice and supportive and goodness my booth is picked CLEAN πŸ₯Ί Posting a little preview of things I'm planning to have at my @sanjapanofficial artist alley table this upcoming weekend! I'll have other goodies too. Hope to see folks at my table (G21) - I've been working very hard basically non-stop for several months to make enough for easily my largest event ever, since everything I have is hand-made by me πŸ₯Ί I'm excited to bring it all together this weekend! Hi everyone! Sorry it's been so quiet - I've been prepping like crazy for a few upcoming markets, including my next show, Witch, Please! here in STL! Swipe to see some of the custom goodies I'm bringing to this spooktacular show - and for ticket and event info (more posted belowπŸ‘‡πŸΌ). I'd be delighted to see you there! I've been quiet but that doesn't mean I haven't been busy! I have two very big and important events (one out of state!!!) coming up, and I am but one humble crocheter - working as fast as I can to make as much cute stuff as possible! ❀️ Working on a new tutorial and really love how this little guy turned out - I've made three so far, and will probably make many more since they work up fast and look so cute! 🍊🐻 Newest pattern + tutorial is live for this little man! I've already made 9 of them, they're kind of addictive to make!πŸ’• Can't wait to show them off at my next show!!! I finally did it... Senshi has been sitting half finished in a bin for ages, and I finally got around to finishing him πŸ˜… I didn't take very good notes, and have tons of things I'd do differently if I were to make him again - but it feels good to cross him off my list! It just started off with her helmet - I thought to try and see if I could even crochet one - but the helmet went so well I thought why not try to crochet the complete chibi Malenia? Here's how it turned out - I'm pretty pleased! I still need to make her sword. I also wish I had a better golden color for her, but I just used what I had on hand πŸ˜” I'm curious - I get asked often at markets if I make everything in my booth (I do!) and when I say so, folks will always say, "WOW, you must be fast!" But often, I find I wish I could work faster so I can make more little guys for my displaysπŸ˜… My first outdoor show was a complete success! Thanks to everyone who stopped by, I hope to be back again at the @lakestlouisfarmersmarket sometime in late June, if I can restock fast enough! What a great way to kick off the summer convention season for me πŸ’–πŸ’• I have a long list of things I need to do - so naturally I didn't do any of those things and instead made this moth man in a different style. It's been a minute since I made one of these sea pancakes! I've got some more breakfast themed ones on the hook today, so excited to share them with you soon! Anyone looking for cute, free crochet patterns that have a complete video tutorial in addition to a written pattern? Hopefully the algorithm sent me your way, because hi πŸ‘‹πŸΌ I'm Missy and I write crochet patterns and share them for free on my YouTube channel and blog! I made myself a new dice bag - I was thinking to maybe make him into a pattern and tutorial but his eyes and mouth and stars were a lot of cutting so I think I'll just keep him for myself! These little guys did really well at my last two shows, so I'm whipping up more to bring to my next few! I'm excited to announce that I've been accepted into #sanjapan this year - I've got a LOT of work ahead of me! Can't wait to meet all of the other vendors and show off my little guys to everyone! This free pattern and video tutorial is ready to go this morning for anyone who'd like to crochet themselves a sweet little succulent pot! I had a lot of fun making this little guy. If you ever wanted to crochet your own Krobus from #stardewvalley - now's the time! My newest video's up and he's the star. Whip up your own little dude. Link for my channel and blog (where you can find the free written pattern, too!) in my bio. Clearing some crochet succulent pots off of my desk this morning! My newest free pattern just dropped on my YouTube page and blog for this bee balm! I made the original guy back in winter of 2024 and he's been living rent-free in my head since then πŸ₯Ί so thought to share the updated pattern with anyone who's interested! It's been a bit! New tutorial posted to my YouTube - I've redone the format and am really happy with the new style of video, and hope you'll like it, too? Swipe to see all the dudes in my store update - it's been a long time overdue! I just really hate taking updated pictures because it cuts into my crochet time 😞 It's really nice out, so restocking my Pikmin outdoors today. Highly recommend if you're in the STL area soaking up some sun today before we get more rain β˜” and yes, I'm wearing sunscreen AND a sun hat! Day 2 of @cape_events1 Cape Con! If you're here stop in and say hi! A rare booth pic with ME in it, thanks so much to Cape Con staff for taking the photo for me 😭 All set up @cape_events1 for Cape Anime! I'm booth 74, come by and say hi if you're at the con today or tomorrow! Swipe for biblically accurate pictures of me as I continue to pull 14+ hour days desperately trying to restock for this weekend after getting wiped out at Naka-kon πŸ₯Ί Sound up for a hyper lapse ASMR experience - also... Is this the kind of content crochet people wanna see? I have no clue but it took ages to make πŸ’€ Working on restocking my fluffy soot sprites, I got wiped out at Naka-kon πŸͺ¦ here's everything so far, they still need their star candies 🌠 My Pokemon potted plants are so popular at conventions that I decided to try my hand at making a few more - and then got distracted making Pikmin instead. On a whim, stuck one in a pot, and think he looks so darling I may just make the whole lineup to add to my booth! They were SUPPOSED to just be bag charms πŸ˜… A basket o' froggies for my next convention - have a few more green ones to make and then maybe a few strawberry ones, too! I've got a lot to do and as usual, not a lot of time to do it!
